Day 11 – Kuratau
It’s harvest day at the vineyard where we’re staying. Allex helped.

Day 9 – To Lake Taupo

Day 8 – Lake Matheson
Fox Glacier was a total rainout. The heli-hike on the glacier was cancelled because of rain. So we went to Lake Matheson and saw this Pukeko instead.
Day 7 – On the Road
We spent today driving from Te Anau to Fox Glacier. Beautiful country, but the 6 1/2 hour drive didn’t give us any time for pictures. I took another picture of Lake Te Anau before we left, though.
Day 6 – Te Anau
A quiet day hiking along the lakeshore.
Day 4 – On the way to Fiordland
The drive from Invercargill to Te Anau.
Day 3 – Stewart Island
All the way to the Southern end of New Zealand. Stewart Island is off the South coast of the South Island, and has 380 permanent residents.
